A cute wedding card using the Crafters Companion Humphrey's Corner decoupage set. The background is simply white card, embossed with a flower design and the topper is mounted onto two Shapeabilities diecuts - the Lotus design - cut up to make an oval instead of the circle.  A couple of sentiment toppers and a little bow finish off the card.
Again bright and springlike - simple.
A springtime birthday card........did I say Springtime!!!! - in England its more like winter than spring.
This is a card for a friend's Golden wedding anniversary.  The background is two different stamps, which were embossed with gold powder.  I put the number  50 in gold onto a circle of black card, mounted that onto pale cream glitter card - cut into two Shapeabilities pendants - the Lotus design, one on top of the other - offset.  Then that was mounted onto black card with gold mirri edging - this by using two of the Samantha Walker Shapeabilities - Twisted Metal Tags and Accents. If you cut dies up you can make all kinds of shapes with them.
This is just a Thank You card for a wedding invite, the wedding colour scheme being white and black. The background is embossed and sanded card and the white banner is a Spellbinder Edgeabilities die.
This reminds me so much of my nephew (who is now in his 40s!). When he was a little boy, he came running in to me on my birthday saying 'I've got you a birthday present' - and placed in my hand - a SPIDER!!!!!!
Some memories never fade......
Another C.H. this time for little boys.
Another Christine Haworth - simply sweet.
This  topper is from the Paintbox Poppets decoupage set by Christine Haworth. Its in the Crafters Companion range.
The style is quite 'Sue Wilson - ish' I think.  But I love the designs of Christine Haworth.

Paintbox Poppets from Crafters Companion

This card is not actually finished.  Again I bought the Reddy decoupage kit from Crafters Companion, and also the CD to use along side the images.  As soon as the kit arrived I was eager to use it and now - 3 days later I am still awaiting the CD!!! hence no sentiment or insert etc.  I even used the Flower Fairies CD for the backing paper!!!!
Another from the same CD as the last post.

Beatrix Potter - Crafters Companion

These are really cute images.

Humphrey's Corner from Crafters Companion

I love the Reddy decoupage kits that Crafters Companion sell so I use the kits for the toppers and the CD for the backing papers etc.
May be the sparkle shows a bit more on this one - I hope so.
This is a much more serene picture in my opinion.  Its such a shame the glitter on the backing doesn't show again.
The backing paper is really sparkly but sadly it doesn't show on my photograph.  I use a mixture of Spellbinder dies and shapes cut from my Cricut machine to enhance my cards.

Norma Jean - from the Glitter Girls collection

I have several pictures of 'Norma Jean' and have chosen a few to put on the blog.  The red rose is made from twisting ribbon and I used a hot glue gun to secure it in place whilst making the petals etc.

This is using a Grand Nestability

May all your weeds be wild flowers.

This is an easel card with a super hero theme.  I have several super hero images which I use.  Cards for boys are always difficult to if I find a useful image I tend to keep it 'alive'.
This is a retirement card.  The front has an oval aperture surrounded by leaves and the owl is on the inside of the card. The sentiment inside says 'Wisdom comes with age'.
A male 'get well' card.  Using the same sentiment and other  images it could easily be female too.
A small 5" x 5" card using a CD from Joanna Sheen - simple and feminine.
Another easel card using the influence of Nikki Hall again - Polkadoodles.
Another elegant lady from the influence of Sue Wilson.
This is very difficult to photograph.  It is very dimensional - it folds out but folds flat to post. The style is from a CD by Robert Addams but I just took the shape and did my own'thing' with it.
An easel card really cute - I love it.
A stepper card in style, very cute.
I love this card, a definite happy birthday Grandad.
Another Humphrey's Corner, from Crafters Companion.  a definite new baby card.
This is influenced by Nikki Hall of Polkadoodles, very modern but a lovely thought none the less.
Another Sue Wilson influence.  Very feminine - using Spellbinders again.
Another Crafters Companion image - from the Humphrey's Corner CD.  Its  very feminine and possibly  a Get Well card.
This is a style called Steam Punk!!  It is very masculine and uses quite obscure designs, with black stamped images and, in this case, cogs and a stop watch. - Thats Steam Punk.
Another card from the influence of the great Sue Wilson, using Spellbinders.  It is a simple winter card which can be either a Christmas card or just a winter greeting.  It uses both the positive and the negative of the snowflake dies.
This card is a simple birthday card from a Crafters Companion CD of Popcorn the bear.
